Structure of Purva Chhatra Samiti

The structure of the Purva Chhatra Samiti, Bhagwanti Education Centre Degree College consists of two administrative assemblies:

1. General Assembly

Life members of the Purva Chhatra Samiti constitute the General Assembly. This body is the supreme authority in all matters related to the samiti.

2. Management Committee

The Managing Committee selected by the General Assembly acts as the governing body of the Samiti.

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Co-Secretary
  • Five Committee Members
Duties and Powers of the Managing Committee
  • To collect and manage funds for activities under approved budgets.
  • To increase alumni membership and participation.
  • To review and update membership fee structure when required.
  • The committee is collectively responsible for all decisions. Any decision against rules and regulations will make all members jointly and individually accountable.
Selection Process

Officials and members of the Managing Committee are elected unanimously or through voting by the General Assembly members for a tenure of 5 years.

All life members of the Samiti have the right to vote.

Amendment Process

Amendments to the memorandum and rules of the Samiti require approval by a 2/3rd majority vote of members present at the Annual General Assembly Meeting.
